Toni Gealy has a passion for helping children feel supported, capable, and confident as they navigate challenges. Her experience includes case management and school-based support, where she has helped children and families access resources and develop skills that support their everyday well-being.
As a Case Manager, Toni takes a person-centered and strengths-based approach. She believes in meeting people where they are, building trust and rapport, and helping clients identify realistic goals. She provides support with transportation, life skills, budgeting, community resources, and calming and coping strategies, always focusing on the individual’s strengths and needs.
Toni earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Youngstown State University and has been approved to take her LSW exam. She plans to continue her education by pursuing a master’s degree in social work. Her desire to work in this field comes from wanting to help people who may have difficulty advocating for themselves and ensure they have access to the same opportunities as everyone else.
One of the most rewarding parts of Toni’s work is seeing clients make progress toward their goals, especially when someone who was initially hesitant about receiving services begins to open up and accept support. She believes consistent encouragement, patience, and compassion can make a meaningful difference.
Outside of work, Toni enjoys shopping, but she also loves relaxing at home on her porch or patio. She is especially proud of being patient, dependable, and compassionate, qualities she brings to her work with every client.
