As the Workforce Operations & HR Data Analyst, Sophie Gough plays a key role in supporting the organization’s operational and workforce strategy. She partners closely with executive leadership, HR, billing, and operations teams to identify workflow efficiencies, address compliance gaps, and analyze workforce trends. Sophie also develops cross-department reporting that highlights organizational strengths while uncovering opportunities for growth and improvement.

In her role, Sophie remains actively involved in contract amendments, performance review tracking, and core HR processes, helping ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment across departments. Her work supports both the day-to-day operations and the long-term success of the organization, bridging data insights with practical application.

Sophie’s professional background spans both nonprofit and private practice settings, including experience as an orthopedic surgery scheduler and as a nurse in an OB/GYN practice. These roles shaped her strengths in coordination, problem-solving, and process improvement. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus in Middle Childhood Education and is a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Sophie values clear communication, consistency, and trust. She believes effective leadership is rooted in collaboration and accountability, and she strives to foster an environment where colleagues feel supported and empowered. Known for her calm, solutions-focused approach, she helps teams navigate challenges while maintaining a strong focus on quality and care.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys reading, attending concerts, and relaxing at home with her cats and tortoise. She is proud to contribute to the mission of HWS and values working alongside a team dedicated to improving the well-being of the community.
