Sidney Cowart has always been interested in mental and behavioral health and understanding how people think and experience the world around them. That interest led her to a career focused on helping others, where she has held roles as a Program Supervisor, Behavior Management Specialist, and Case Manager.

Sidney has worked with children, adults, and families, helping them navigate needs such as housing, budgeting, transportation, life skills, coping skills, and community resources. She believes positive support systems and having someone who listens without judgment can make a meaningful difference in someone’s ability to move forward.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently working toward her CDCA. Sidney enjoys building relationships, finding solutions, and watching clients reach their goals and become more confident in themselves and their families.

Outside of work, Sidney loves traveling and spending time with her daughter, who is her greatest passion. She is also the oldest of five siblings and considers her three sisters, brother, daughter, and two nephews some of the most important people in her life.

One lesson Sidney has learned through her work is that “everyone’s situation is different and everyone has a story.” She strives to be a guide, a listening ear, and someone clients can trust, knowing that even a small moment of support can make someone’s difficult day a little better.
