Ricco Oliver brings a wealth of professional and life experience to his role as Case Manager. His career has included serving as a Mental Health Worker on a psychiatric ward, Human Resources Director for a mental health agency, Civil Deputy Sheriff, Social Work Field Liaison at Youngstown State University, Behavioral Specialist Consultant, and Veteran Mentor for the Honors Court under Judge Anthony D’Apolito.

Ricco works with youth, adolescents, adults, and veterans—particularly those navigating mental health challenges and post-traumatic stress. He focuses on helping clients access community and court resources while building life and survival skills rooted in their individual strengths. His approach emphasizes using one’s resilience and personal experiences as a foundation for growth, change, and empowerment.

A proud veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2005), Ricco draws on his own recovery journey from combat exposure to support other veterans and individuals facing trauma. He holds both an MBA and MSW from Youngstown State University and is passionate about empowering others to rise after adversity and find purpose in their healing.

Outside of work, Ricco enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, making his mother smile, and participating in art therapy activities such as “sip and paint.” He often reflects on Proverbs 27:17: “Iron sharpens iron.” All praise be to God.
