Rachel Moushey serves as a Counselor, supporting middle and high school students across Stark County. With a background rooted in both education and mental health, she is passionate about helping youth navigate challenges and build confidence through compassionate, strength-based support.
Rachel’s approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and person-centered. She believes in meeting clients where they are, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space, and helping them recognize their own resilience to foster meaningful growth. She is committed to building trust and empowering students to move forward at their own pace because, as she often reminds them, progress doesn’t have to be perfect.
Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Malone University and her master’s degree in Social Work from Cleveland State University.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with family and friends, finding creative outlets, and cheering on her favorite football teams: the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She values authenticity and connection in all she does, believing that true healing happens when people feel genuinely seen and supported.
