Olga Rafidi is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor at HWS Best Health, bringing decades of experience as a therapist, supervisor, manager, and program director. She has worked extensively with individuals and groups in areas including domestic violence, crisis intervention, adoption, in-home treatment, and outpatient mental health care. Her diverse career also includes work in residential and crisis center settings, equipping her to support clients through a wide range of challenges.
Olga takes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Couples Therapy. She specializes in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional challenges, and relationship concerns. Fluent in Arabic and deeply connected to Arabic culture, Olga is especially skilled in working with clients from Middle Eastern backgrounds and uses her own cultural and immigration experiences to strengthen understanding and connection in therapy.
A graduate of Walsh University, Olga earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development. She is licensed in the State of Ohio as an LPC-S. In addition to her professional work, she is actively involved in service to her community. She serves on the board of Zoe for Life, a nonprofit that supports pregnant women through resources, referrals, and adoption matching within the Christian Orthodox community. Each summer, she also volunteers at the Antiochian Village Camp in Pennsylvania.
Olga is known for her compassion, active listening, and ability to create a safe, trustworthy environment where clients feel comfortable opening up. She values confidentiality and encourages clients to move through therapy at their own pace, believing that healing begins when people feel heard and supported.
Originally from Jerusalem, Palestine, Olga grew up in the Greek Orthodox Church and brings her rich cultural background into her work. Outside of counseling, she enjoys traveling internationally to experience new cultures, as well as reading, swimming, and going on cruises.
“In therapy, I’ve learned that everyone’s experience is unique and personal. The most important part of therapy is allowing clients to move at their own speed and comfort.”
