Tiffany Msafiri brings a wealth of experience to her counseling role, with a background that includes adoption-competent counseling, school-based counseling, Christian counseling, and group facilitation. She has also served as a two-term president of the Ohio Adoption Planning Group (OAPG), where she helped shape support and resources for adoptive families across the state.
Tiffany has worked with children, teens, couples, and individuals facing addiction, supporting them in a wide range of settings including schools, residential programs, outpatient care, crisis response, and county services. She is adoption-competent and trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as CBT. Her counseling approach centers on self-care—helping clients place their own well-being, balance, and capacity to nurture themselves at the heart of their healing journey. She specializes in trauma, anxiety, and family relationships, with a strong commitment to helping clients build awareness and resilience.
Tiffany earned her Master of Education in Clinical Counseling from Malone University. Known for her friendly and caring nature, she draws from both professional expertise and life experience to connect meaningfully with the people she serves.
Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and diving into her love of ancestry research. She recently discovered new relatives through genealogy work and continues to find joy in exploring family history.
“In therapy, I believe it’s a team effort. I often tell clients, ‘My magic wand has broken. So, we have to do this together.’”
