Michelle Bemiller brings a thoughtful and restorative approach to her work with children and young adults. Her background includes serving as a Restorative Practices Facilitator and Trainer, as well as a Title IX Hearing Board Member, roles that reflect her commitment to fairness, healing, and meaningful dialogue. She has experience working with K–12 students and college students in school-based settings, supporting individuals as they navigate challenges related to trauma, anxiety, autism, and emotional regulation.

Michelle’s counseling style is rooted in narrative and trauma-informed care. She believes therapy works best when it combines supportive relationships with practical, effective interventions and when clients are encouraged to engage in their healing both during sessions and in everyday life. Michelle is deeply committed to meeting people where they are and honoring each person’s unique story and perspective.

Michelle holds a PhD in Sociology, a master’s degree in Justice Studies, and a graduate certificate in Restorative Justice and Leadership. She has studied at the University of Akron, Kent State University, and the University of San Diego, and remains engaged in professional communities through sociological societies and restorative justice networks.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys reading and is known for her sense of humor. She believes that growth is always possible and that every individual, regardless of age, carries a unique and powerful story.
