MacKenna Ryan brings a compassionate and creative spirit to her work, drawing from a wide range of roles throughout her career, including her unique background in Equine Assisted Services. In that role, she blended the therapeutic power of horses with her passion for supporting people, creating calm, healing spaces for clients of all ages.
MacKenna has worked alongside children, adults, families, and individuals with disabilities, supporting them through life’s transitions with care and consistency. Whether she’s connecting someone with housing or community resources, helping develop life skills, or simply being a supportive presence, she’s known for meeting people exactly where they are and offering a “hand up” during times of need.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Therapeutic Horsemanship and Equine Facility Management from Lake Erie College and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Cleveland State University. Her goal is to become a licensed social worker and continue combining her deep love of animals with her dedication to helping others.
Outside of work, MacKenna runs a rescue farm filled with animals she and her family have saved from difficult circumstances. When she’s not outside enjoying time with her four-legged companions, she loves to bake, read, and make people smile.
MacKenna shares: “I believe that case management is incredibly gratifying and important work for our community.”
