Katie Delbrugge has always been passionate about working with children and helping others. For the past six years, she has coached youth and special needs cheerleading, helping children build confidence, learn new skills, and feel supported. She also volunteers at a women’s shelter, where she supports children and families through reading, play, and encouragement.

Katie has experience working with children of all ages, families, and adults from a variety of backgrounds. As a Case Manager, she focuses on meeting clients where they are, without judgment, while helping them feel heard, valued, and supported. She works to build on each person’s strengths and connect them with resources that can help them reach their goals.

Katie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from The University of Akron and is beginning graduate school to pursue her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her experiences coaching and supporting children have strengthened her passion for creating safe spaces where young people can build confidence and feel comfortable being themselves.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her two Golden Retrievers, Ali and Fin, traveling, exploring new places, and relaxing with her college best friends. She is also proud of her Polish heritage and enjoys celebrating her family’s traditions and culture.

Katie believes that everyone deserves to have someone in their corner. She hopes to make a positive difference in the lives of the individuals and families she supports, no matter how big or small that impact may be.
