Hannah Schenault, LSW, works with children, adolescents, and young adults, helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, academic, and social challenges in both school and outpatient settings. With experience ranging from kindergarten-aged children through clients in their twenties, Hannah focuses on creating a supportive and empowering environment where individuals feel safe being themselves.
Her approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Hannah emphasizes strong rapport, validation, and practical growth, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques to help clients better manage thoughts, emotions, and everyday stressors. She believes meaningful change happens when clients feel heard, accepted, and supported without judgment.
Hannah’s clinical interests include anxiety, depression, grief, emotional regulation, self-esteem concerns, self-harm, family and peer conflict, adjustment disorders, behavioral challenges, and play therapy. She works to help clients build confidence, resilience, and coping skills they can use both in and outside of sessions.
She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Cleveland State University and remains passionate about helping young people recognize their strengths and ability to grow through challenges.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys reading, cooking, baking, spending time with her husband and family, cuddling with her cats, and walking her dog. She’s also proudly “a nerd at heart” who loves Comic-Con, anime, video games, Marvel and DC movies, and collecting figurines and plushies for the gaming room she shares with her husband.
As Hannah often reminds clients, small and consistent steps outside of therapy can lead to meaningful, lasting change.
