Emma Vickers is passionate about creating calm, supportive spaces for pre-teens and teens navigating life’s challenges. She began her career providing ABA services to adolescents in Trumbull County while completing her education, later working as a Behavior Support Provider in schools. That experience helped shape her path to becoming a master’s level social worker and therapist, where she now supports middle and high school students.

Emma’s approach to therapy is deeply client centered. She believes in meeting each individual where they are and building from there. Not only to support the student, but to strengthen the family as a whole. Whether she’s helping a student process emotions or working with caregivers to develop practical strategies, her focus is always on fostering growth through trust, safety, and meaningful connection.

Emma specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns among youth in the community. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and EMDR, and she draws from each modality to tailor support to the needs of her clients.

She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Youngstown State University.

Outside of work, Emma loves spending time with her family, relaxing with her two dogs, and getting outside as often as she can to enjoy sunshine and nature. A lifelong athlete, she played competitive softball for 18 years and even coached a championship-winning pre-teen team during college.
