Elizabeth Bremenkamp is a licensed independent social worker with experience working with clients ranging from 8 to 95 years old. Most recently, she has supported adolescents in outpatient PHP/IOP settings, working with diagnoses including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ODD, and ADHD. Her background also includes roles in home health care, outpatient therapy, and leadership as a lead clinician and interim manager.
Elizabeth approaches therapy as an opportunity to learn about her clients’ lives and stories while collaborating to help them move toward a brighter, more empowered future. She incorporates CBT and DBT-informed techniques and believes that openness and commitment to the therapeutic process are key steps in the healing journey.
Elizabeth earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Kent State University and her master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. She values helping clients recognize that they are the experts on themselves and fostering progress through regular, supportive engagement.
Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys reading, going to the gym, and exploring new experiences. She once virtually observed a live, robot-assisted surgery and had the chance to ask the surgeon questions.
