Dr. Krystal Drake brings extensive experience as a clinical psychologist, supervisor, educator, and training leader. In her role at HWS, she ensures high-quality, person-centered care through clinical supervision, staff training, and quality assurance. She helps align day-to-day operations with organizational values by guiding clinicians in best practices, supporting professional growth, and maintaining integrity in documentation and service delivery.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Drake has served as a psychologist, clinical supervisor, professor, training director, and group facilitator. She has worked across diverse settings such as hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation, community agencies, college counseling centers, nursing homes, residential programs, and private practice. These experiences allow her to adapt to different systems and meet the needs of a wide range of populations.

Dr. Drake specializes in trauma-informed care, health psychology, grief and loss counseling, ADHD-informed treatment, and the integration of medical and mental health approaches. She is also highly experienced in supervision, training, and culturally responsive practices. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Health Psychology and is a licensed clinical psychologist in Ohio. She also remains active in the field as a member of the Ohio Psychological Association and serves as co-chair of the health committee for her sorority.

As a leader, Dr. Drake values collaboration, clear communication, and empowerment. She believes in building trust, fostering growth, and creating a culture where staff feel supported and confident in their professional development.

Outside of work, she enjoys time with her Cavapoo, Bailey Cinnamon Drake, listening to audiobooks, and experimenting with making her own body care products.
