Dee Stanley brings extensive experience in behavioral health, having worked as a case manager, therapist, program director, area director, and state director. She has supported youth and families in outpatient, community, school, foster home, and rehabilitation settings.
Dee has a special interest in working with adults who are reflecting on their life experiences, relationships, challenges, and losses. Her approach combines reminiscence therapy with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients explore meaningful memories, recognize their strengths, and better understand how past experiences continue to shape their lives.
She believes a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to creating a space where clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable exploring their experiences. Dee earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and Ohio NASW. She also served on the board of the Ohio Children’s Alliance through August 2026.
Outside of work, Dee enjoys spending time in her flower gardens, caring for her farm animals, raising game birds, and exploring beaches in search of sea glass and shark teeth. As a nature lover, she often encourages clients to spend time outdoors when possible.
Dee believes that reflecting on the past can help people find meaning, strength, and direction for the future. In her words, “In therapy, I believe all things are possible.”
