Danielle Phillips is a compassionate counselor who approaches every client with respect, humility, and a deep belief in their ability to heal. With a background in school-based social work, inpatient psychiatric care, and in-home case management, Danielle brings a well-rounded and grounded perspective to her therapeutic work with both children and adults.
Danielle specializes in working with children between the ages of 9 and 13, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. Her integrative therapeutic approach draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Above all, she prioritizes creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to explore, grow, and lead their own healing journey.
Danielle earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from Youngstown State University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Capella University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and has also led professional trainings on trauma-informed care and educator self-care, demonstrating her commitment to supporting both clients and the communities that surround them.
Her clients often say they feel truly seen and supported in her presence. “Healing looks different for everyone,” Danielle shares. “With patience, trust, and support, people can find their own unique path to growth and wellness.”
Outside of counseling, Danielle enjoys traveling, nature walks, fantasy stories, and family time with her husband, two young children, and their dog, Renly. She also has a love for video games—especially Zelda—and is a proud Dragon Ball Z fan.
