Ciera Carter brings a wealth of hands-on experience to her work, having served in roles such as direct care and support worker, behavioral management specialist, caregiver, and social work intern. She has supported children, adults, families, and individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including substance use, homelessness, disabilities, and involvement in the juvenile justice system.
Ciera’s approach to care is grounded in patience, consistency, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for growth on their own timeline and without judgment. Whether she’s helping someone navigate housing and employment resources, develop budgeting and financial literacy skills, or simply offering a listening ear, she shows up with honesty, empathy, and understanding.
With a bachelor’s degree in social work, a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certification, and aspirations to earn her LSW, Ciera is deeply committed to supporting people in building brighter futures. Her passion for helping others was sparked by her early work in nursing and has continued to grow as she builds connections in her community.
Outside of work, Ciera enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and indulging in a bit of shopping. She’s known for her creativity, her love of conversation, and her thoughtful presence.
“We all have a story to tell. We’re all human, but not the same.”
