Brianna Beech is a counselor at HWS Best Health, working with individuals of all ages with a special focus on children from 3rd to 12th grade and women experiencing trauma. She began her career as a victims’ advocate in the criminal justice system, a role she held for six years, before transitioning to a behavioral health specialist at OhioGuidestone, where she supported school-aged children while completing her master’s program. She has since grown into her role as a therapist, providing compassionate care across schools, colleges, domestic violence shelters, and the court system.
Brianna’s therapeutic approach emphasizes building a strong and trusting relationship with clients. She believes the first sessions are crucial for establishing a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions. Her work focuses on trauma, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, ADHD, and supporting children, using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solutions-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. She emphasizes the importance of a strong client-therapist bond, encouraging clients to recognize their courage and strength while fostering trust and growth.
Brianna earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from the University of Mount Union, and her Master of Social Work from Ohio University. Known for her genuine care and passion, Brianna helps clients see that they can navigate life’s challenges and believe in their own resilience.
Outside of work, Brianna enjoys self-care walks, exploring new coffee shops, and spending time with her loved ones. She has learned from her clients that anything is possible when you put your mind to it and believe in yourself.
