Autumn Goffinet brings compassion, experience, and versatility to her work in the mental health and substance use field. With a background spanning crisis response, hospice social work, transitional care coordination, and program leadership, Autumn has supported individuals through some of life’s most vulnerable moments.
She has worked extensively with adults experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges across community, crisis, and facility-based settings. Autumn takes a client-centered approach, meeting people where they are and tailoring her support to what feels most helpful for them in the moment.
As a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDCIII), Autumn specializes in trauma-informed care, substance use, and adult mental health. She earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Akron and a master’s degree from PennWest.
Outside of work, Autumn stays active through hiking, exercising, and spending time outdoors. She’s also a mom, a dedicated volunteer with Akron Snow Angels, and a long-time line dancer. She shares her home with a litter-trained mini pig, adding a little joy and surprise to daily life.
“In therapy, I believe change is possible. Something I’ve learned from my clients is that growth happens and it is beautiful.”
