Audree Townsend brings compassion, steadiness, and understanding to her work as a counselor at HWS Best Health. She previously served as a case worker with Children’s Services, supporting individuals and families across Knox and Carroll Counties. Her experience spans residential programs, group homes, and crisis clinic settings, where she worked closely with clients during some of their most vulnerable moments.

Audree’s approach to counseling centers on validation and connection. She believes in honoring each person’s emotions and helping clients feel understood and supported. With a focus on trauma and anxiety, Audree helps individuals recognize that while some experiences may stay with us, it is possible to learn how to live peacefully alongside them without being overtaken.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Clients often describe Audree as motherly and easy to talk to, qualities that help create a safe and welcoming therapeutic space.

Outside of work, Audree enjoys scrapbooking, painting, walking trails, hiking, and attending craft shows throughout the year. She values creativity and time outdoors as ways to stay grounded and present.
