Anna Olsen brings heart, insight, and a deep respect for individuality to her work as a counselor. With a background rooted in clinical mental health counseling and a passion for language and cultural connection, Anna has spent her career supporting teens, young adults, and individuals from minority and LGBTQ+ communities. She provides services in both English and Spanish, and believes strongly in meeting clients exactly where they are.
Anna has worked in a range of settings including outpatient care, day treatment programs, schools, the community, and via telehealth, always with a focus on creating safety, understanding, and growth. Her approach to therapy begins with building rapport and offering psychoeducation, helping clients better understand themselves and their experiences as a foundation for lasting change. She works with clients navigating ADHD, PTSD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with a clinical lens that values the intersection of identity, emotion, and environment.
Anna earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a dual undergraduate degree in Spanish Linguistics and Global & International Studies from Malone University. Though she’s not currently affiliated with professional committees, she stays active through continual learning and a deep curiosity about human behavior.
Clients often describe Anna as someone who truly sees and respects their full selves. “Please be your fullest self,” she says. “You never need to show up as anything other than who you really are.”
Outside of work, Anna recharges by getting outdoors, planning adventures, and indulging her love of language, learning, and the occasional spontaneous baking session. Fun fact: she once had a song on the radio!
