Amanda Singleton is a compassionate case manager with extensive experience supporting clients of all ages and abilities, including immigrant families and refugees. Her background includes roles as a Parent Educator for Help Me Grow, Care Coordinator for Ohio Rise, Child Welfare Investigator, Victim Advocate, and Refugee Case Manager. She has worked in a wide range of settings, from hospitals to community programs, assisting clients with parenting support, developmental assessments, reunification, trauma disclosures, and navigating complex life challenges.
Amanda’s approach is client-centered and strengths-based. She focuses on listening, validating, and encouraging clients, helping them build confidence in their abilities and achieve meaningful goals. She believes that trust is earned through consistent support and that self-sufficiency is cultivated through experience and guidance.
Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Kent State University. Her passion for helping others was shaped by personal experiences and mentors who inspired her to enter the mental health field. She is known for her problem-solving skills, relatability, and ability to make clients feel valued.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys reading, puzzles, gardening, and learning to sew. She brings warmth, humor, and a relatable personality to her work, creating strong connections with the people she serves.
