Allie Guinta is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. She spent a decade as a case manager with Aultman Home Care, worked extensively with geriatric and mental health populations, and has also served as a nursing educator for the past five years.
Throughout her career, Allie has provided support in both home and community settings, helping clients with housing, transportation, life skills, and connecting them to vital community resources. She also works with inpatient mental health populations, conducting assessments and coordinating outpatient care to ensure safe and supportive transitions. Her approach is client-centered, built on trust, empathy, and collaboration. She believes in meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and helping them feel seen, heard, and supported.
Allie holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a master’s in nursing education, and has recently completed her PMHNP program. She was drawn to mental health care by a desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, particularly those facing challenges that are not always visible. She finds fulfillment in watching her clients make progress and feels privileged to play a role in their journey toward stability and growth.
Known for her positivity, teamwork, and organizational skills, Allie is deeply valued by both colleagues and clients. Outside of work, she enjoys teaching barre classes at the YMCA and Pure Barre, camping with her family, reading, and cheering on her children at their sporting events.
“Something I’ve learned from working with people is that everyone matters and deserves the time, support, and compassion to become the best version of themselves.”
