Abby Wilson is passionate about building relationships that create lasting change. With a background in both direct care and group facilitation, she has spent her career supporting children and families by helping them access resources, develop coping skills, and build emotional regulation in the face of everyday and long-term challenges. Her work has included leading group sessions on self-control, emotional awareness, and problem-solving, particularly for youth navigating behavioral and emotional hurdles.
Abby’s approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in empathy. She believes that being seen, heard, and valued can be transformational, and she works hard to meet each client where they are, emotionally, mentally, and practically. Whether she’s helping families build life skills or connecting them with community resources, Abby focuses on trust, empowerment, and walking alongside each client as they define their goals and take steps toward them.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in School Counseling. She plans to pursue both her LSW and her School Counseling license to continue supporting children and families in multiple settings.
Abby is often described as someone who brings calm, comfort, and genuine understanding into every interaction. Clients and colleagues alike recognize her for her patience, strong communication skills, and ability to make people feel heard.
Outside of her work, music is a big part of Abby’s life. She plays several instruments and sings in a band, finding creative expression to be one of her favorite ways to recharge.
As Abby puts it: “Case management is about being a steady, supportive presence in someone’s life. It’s not just about connecting people to resources—it’s about helping them see their own strength, and walking alongside them as they grow.”
