A’Mya Mishak is a Case Manager who brings experience in behavioral support and customer service to her role at HWS. She previously worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and has experience supporting both children and adults, strengthening her passion for helping others feel supported and reminding them they are not alone.

A’Mya takes a compassionate, supportive approach to case management, meeting individuals where they are and walking alongside them through each season of life. She helps clients build life skills while developing trusting relationships that allow them to feel comfortable and supported as they work toward their goals.

A’Mya earned her Bachelor’s degree in Christian Caregiving and Counseling and has applied to graduate school for Social Work. She believes progress happens when people know they have someone in their corner who believes in them and is willing to move at their pace.

Outside of work, A’Mya enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and watching Disney movies. She also loves learning about weather and once dreamed of becoming a meteorologist.

As A’Mya shares, “You have to walk at their pace and build rapport with them to gain their trust and for them to know that you have their best interest at heart.”
