Mason Yoder serves as the Vice President of Operations and Quality Assurance at HWS Best Health, where he works to ensure that systems, processes, and people are aligned in support of compassionate, high-quality mental health care. His role spans intake, care coordination, psychiatric services, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on making care delivery smoother for both clients and staff.

Mason’s background includes experience in outpatient behavioral health, inpatient psychiatry, skilled nursing, and substance use treatment. He’s had the opportunity to support agencies through complex licensing, accreditation (OhioMHAS, CARF), payer contracting, and operational transitions. In every setting, his goal has been the same: to build structures that support both sustainable care and the people providing it.

He holds a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certification. Additionally, while not licensed as an LPN, Mason completed a practical nursing program during high school which is where his love for healthcare blossomed. Mason also maintains certifications in medical billing, HIPAA compliance, clinical documentation integrity, and Lean Six Sigma. Mason currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of a nonprofit sober living organization, where he contributes to strengthening recovery-focused programs and infrastructure.

Colleagues describe Mason as hands-on, energetic, and systems-minded. He believes that meaningful progress comes from pairing high standards with humility, curiosity, and a deep respect for the work others do every day.

Outside of work, Mason enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and seeking out the occasional adrenaline rush—he’s visited over 30 states and ridden more than 140 roller coasters. He also finds joy in everyday moments, from hiking with friends to rewatching Schitt’s Creek on a quiet evening.
